Physical description: Anastasia is quite meticulous in taking care of herself. She upholds strange and oftentimes excessive routines to actually care for herself, even if she doesn't necessarily have to due to being a vampire. Most recently she's spend most of her time on her dark, somewhat thick hair, due to the southern humidity; turns out her hair's quite frizzy. She's abandoned her usual clothing preference for something a lot more casual, though she can't get rid of her heels; she enjoys looking not as short as she actually is... and she's pretty short. 

History: Born in California to two Romanian immigrants, Anastasia was around wealth and power all her life and, well, enjoyed what she saw. Her goal, even from a young age, was to have money, especially when she got old enough to realize that she wasn't in a house that had a lot. She did her best in school, even if she wasn't particularly book smart, and after she graduated she took two jobs in order to save up money.

She was eighteen when she came out to her parents and was promptly kicked out. She moved in with a friend who insisted she didn't pay rent (Anastasia wouldn't, but would usually sneak her friend money for other costs) and continued working. A year and a half later her parents reestablished contact, though Anastasia quickly discovered it was in hopes that she had simply "gone through a phase" with her sexuality. She didn't have the heart to break their hopes about that, and while she did talk to them, she never moved back home.

At twenty-eight she was turned and she never really remembered what happened. All she remembered (and still remembers) is that she was walking home from work and was attacked. When she woke up it was in the presence of a woman who explained what had happened and tried to pick at Anastasia's memories, but there wasn't really anything telling; her attacker was taller than her and smelled funny... and, after thinking a moment longer, Anastasia didn't exactly think that smell was anything close to being natural. The woman decided to take the new vampire under her wing, at least for a while. They didn't tell each other much (in fact, Anastasia never even learned her name), but after awhile it was clear that her tutor was a vampire. A year later, Anastasia broke ties with a thanks.

The woman had introduced her to the supernatural black market, which was quite big in California. She saw potential to acquire her wealth there and she did so. She first went into the business of supplying hitmen; turning random people on the street, having them do the assassination (more than likely getting caught in the process) and her being paid. That went well enough that she was able to sneak her way into selling other services as well, though she didn't exactly do any work. She didn't exactly care too much over how many people she turned.

Years later, there was a series of attacks on the market, and she very quickly realized they were all her fledglings. She took what money she dared access and fled the state, knowing that staying would probably not be in her interests seeing as they were targeting her network of employees. She spent a year traveling the country, to be safe, and then bought an old plantation house in Mossy Hollow. While she hasn't been in town a month yet, she’s already begun itching to begin increasing her wealth.
