Name: Elijah Sinclair
Age: 30
Gender: Male
Orientation: Straight
Species/Type: Human
Conditions: Vampirism
Modifications:
Occupation: none - unemployed
Physical description: Elijah is as pale as they come, especially since that little bloodsucking incident, and can reach a height of just over six feet when he holds himself up straight enough. His general shape is tall and imposing, with wide shoulders and lean but muscled arms. His ash-brown hair is a little scruffy these days, since he can't get to the barbershop often, and his long, narrow nose maintains a theme of sharp, straight edges along with his squinty hazel eyes and well-defined jawline. Get him to smile, and you'll get a peek at his marble-white fangs.
History: In youth, Elijah was always a troublemaker, the youngest of three sons and always the first to pull a prank. His prospects for a career didn't show much promise, owing to his mediocre grades and lack of focus, and so when a one night stand with a mysterious woman got him killed, he took to the vampiric life gladly and never looked back.
The vampire who turned him, Marissa, mentored him and helped him adjust to his new existence, but he didn't remain under her wing for long. He was surly and ungrateful to her, and his personality clashed with hers to the point that they could no longer be partners in crime together. He likes to think that she simply disappeared one day, and he'll spin a self-aggrandizing yarn about it if asked, but really, she ran him off and sent a clear message that under no circumstances would he be allowed back on her turf.
Since then, he's moved to Mossy Hollow and begun making a comfortable life for himself on the blood of others. It's possible, technically, for a vampire to get a job and try to live a normal life, but Elijah never had an interest in that. What interests him is power, immortality, and the ability to easily destroy. That said, he lives what he considers to be a "quiet" life, reveling in his newfound strength and lurking in the shadows until he seizes his next victim.
These days, he spends much of his waking hours hanging around the city cemetery, taking cover by day and resuming the prowl at night. He's always interested in whatever warm-blooded snack he can get his hands on, and when opportunity provides, Elijah is adventurous in his tastes; yet somehow, he's yet to taste the blood of a nymph -- which isn't to say he hasn't tried. A few times, in fact, and the damn things always seem to disappear before he can get a hold of them.
Owing to his sloppy coverups and brazen attitude, he has been connected with the murders of several people in Mossy Hollow and is wanted by the police -- not that any of them would confront him themselves.
